May God forgive me and guide me regarding anything that would have been misinterpreted in this study and elsewhere. May He always guide us to a better understanding of His profound scripture so we can purify ourselves and increase our knowledge.

1. The Bible

Respect the natural boundaries between species that God established on earth:

Genesis 1:11-12 : And God said, “Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind, on the earth.” And it was so. The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed according to their own kinds, and trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.

Leviticus 19:19 : “You shall keep my statutes. You shall not let your cattle breed with a different kind. You shall not sow your field with two kinds of seed, nor shall you wear a garment of cloth made of two kinds of material.

Deuteronomy 22:9 : “You shall not sow your vineyard with two kinds of seed, lest the whole yield be forfeited, the crop that you have sown and the yield of the vineyard.”

1 Corinthians 15:38-39 : But God gives it a body as he has chosen, and to each kind of seed its own body. For not all flesh is the same, but there is one kind for humans, another for animals, another for birds, and another for fish.

1 Timothy 4:4 For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving.

Any plant that does not originate from God must be uprooted:

Matthew 7:19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

Matthew 15:13 : He answered, “Every plant that my heavenly Father has not planted will be rooted up.”

2. The Quran

People who modify the creation of God are misled and enticed by satan and is de facto accepting the devil as a lord beside God :

(4:119) “I (satan) will surely mislead them, I will surely entice them, I will surely command them to mark the ears of livestock, and I will command them to distort the creation of God.” Anyone who accepts the devil as an ally instead of God, has most certainly incurred a profound loss.

(13:16) Have they found idols besides GOD who created creations similar to His creations, to the point of not distinguishing the two creations? Say, “GOD is the Creator of all things, and He is the One, the Supreme.”

God created all separate species with His infinite wisdom and knowledge in order to establish a perfect balance on earth; therefore, we shall not disrupt it:

(15:19) As for the earth, we constructed it, and placed on it stabilizers (mountains), and we grew on it a perfect balance of everything.

(7:56) Do not corrupt the earth after it has been set straight, and worship Him out of reverence, and out of hope. Surely, GOD’s mercy is attainable by the righteous.

(2:205) And if he gains power, he seeks to corrupt the Earth and destroy its crops, and people’s lineage. God does not like corruption.

Mixing genes from different species (or any genes outside the natural reproduction cycle) is a high crime: We shall respect the natural barriers set by God on earth:

(13:25) As for those who violate GOD’s covenant after pledging to keep it, and sever what GOD has commanded to be joined, and commit evil, they have incurred condemnation; they have incurred the worst destiny.

Conclusion

Holy scriptures are the guidance and light of our lives: All these straightforward Biblical and Quranic verses teach us that tampering with the creation of God is defying God and tantamount to idol worship and is directly inspired by satan.

We human beings are all brothers and sisters and the role of the human race is to be good stewards of our planet, not destroy and corrupt it: Jews, Christians, Muslims and all human beings on earth with a good heart must unite against GMOs, cloning, chimeras, and all other horrible types of distortions of God’s creation.

Let us fight to preserve the pure creation and perfect balance that God established on earth for the present and future generations.

May God protect us against the work of satan and give us the strength to reverse the corruption wherever it may be.
